Rachel is a research assistant with an interest in improving access to health care and support. She holds a BSc in Psychology with History from Keele University and an MSc in War and Psychiatry from King’s College London.
Before joining the COMIC team Rachel worked as a research assistant at King’s College London working on two projects; one working to improve social isolation in pregnant women and new mothers and another project working to create tailored mental health and wellbeing interventions for university students. Rachel also has experience as a support worker, working with adults with mental health and drug and alcohol issues in a supported housing community.
Rachel started in the COMIC team working on the Diagnostic Instruments for Autism in Deaf Children Study (DIADS). Rachel now works on the Autism Spectrum Social Stories™ In Schools Trial (ASSSIST-2) working to recruit families, teachers and schools to the study.
