Hannah Pearson

Hannah is a research assistant with interests in clinical and developmental psychology. She completed her BSc in Psychology at the University of Leeds. Whilst studying, Hannah volunteered as a facilitator for a support group for students with eating disorders. She also volunteered as a data collector for the Born in Bradford Research Project-a birth cohort study examining why children in low socioeconomic areas have poorer health and educational outcomes. In 2015, Hannah completed a 5 week mental health placement in Sri Lanka, where she visited psychiatric facilities in the country and shadowed mental health professionals.

Since graduating, Hannah has completed a PGCE in primary education at Sheffield Hallam University and has worked across two primary schools in South Yorkshire as a teacher. Hannah now works in the COMIC team on the Autism Spectrum Social Stories™ In Schools Trial (ASSSIST-2).
